Bacabs

A name given to four beings, upholders of the firmament, in the mythology of the Mayan Indians of Yucatan. Their names were Kan, Muluc, Ix, and Comac. They represented the east, north, west, and south; and had as their symbolic colors yellow, white, black, and red.
