The shroud for the dead. It usually consists of three pieces of cloth for a man and five for a woman. Those for a man: 1, An izar, or piece of cloth, reaching from the navel to the knees or ankle joings; 2, A qamis, or shirt, from the neck to the knees; 3, A sheet to cover the whole corpse.
