Khatir

"Mind; conscience." A term used by mystic teachers. Khatir is said to be of four kinds: Al-Khatiru ‘r-Rabbani, "conscience inspired by God"; al-Khatiru ‘l-Malaki, "conscience inspired by angels"; al-Khatiru ‘n-Nafsani; "a conscience inspired by the flesh"; al-Khatiru ‘sh-Shaitani, " a conscience inspired by the devil."
